Description
This unique collection features compositions written to celebrate the 70th birthday of Swiss conductor and patron of the arts Paul Sacher in 1976. The 12 pieces on this double album, released together on one CD for the first time, depict a landscape of modern cello music.
Each of the composers was asked to write a piece using a motif from the 6 letters of Sacher's name as a starting point. The performers are Thomas Demenga and his brother Patrick Demenga.
