New Foundation Council Member: Christiane Albiez
Albiez, who holds a doctorate in music, literature and communication studies, was Head of Promotion and Company Spokesperson at Schott Music Publishing from 2001 to 2019, and until March 2024 she was a member of the management team responsible for Concert Opera Media.
Albiez worked as a cultural policy reporter for the Berliner Zeitung newspaper, as a programme consultant and author for the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra as well as for the record label Berlin Classics. She also publishes newspaper articles, essays and books, regularly teaches courses and hosts events.
