Henze 75" in Nuremberg

They considered this major event (project management: Michael Kerstan and Fabrizio Ventura) to be a prototype for a future Nuremberg festival for contemporary music, which would take place every two years. One of the highlights was certainly the Opera late night on 20 October, during which the two pianists Moritz Eggert and Martin Zehn performed a concert with 11 works for piano two or four hands for the first time in public, which they had given for the first time on Henze's birthday in his villa. The new pieces were composed by Jan Müller-Wieland, Kenneth Hesketh, Stefan Hakenberg, Stefano Taglietti, David A. Lang, Toshiro Saruya, Detlev Glanert, Giorgio Battistelli, Maek-Anthony Turnage and Gerd Kühr. Henze himself contributed a new work.
