When people talk about ‘Castel Gandolfo’, many say ‘Pope’: this is where the popes go on holiday; the Vatican has a summer residence in the small town south-east of Rome. The buildings rise up right next to the intensely green Lake Albano. We made our way to the area to pay a visit to the protagonist of the concert hall's composer festival.
